Legendary singer Kumar Sanu makes a weekend appearance on the sets of Indian Idol, also inspires two Indian Idol 12 contestants Pawandeep Singh & Arunima.
Needless to say, Kumar Sanu has influenced an entire generation & given us the best romantic songs treasure, the ones that have grown up in the eighties and nineties, largely shaped the idea of romantic love. Let’s face it: he made us all hopeless romantics. Building a kingdom from scratch, and carving a niche in the hearts of every Indian, he proved love and passion are the biggest traits of all. He’s made love the new black.
To celebrate him, Sony TV’s Indian Idol will have him as a special episode. The music reality show will host him alongside Anuradha Paudwal as special guests on the episode. It will feature the top contestants singing some mesmerizing songs, enhancing the romantic mood.
From the promo, Pawandeep Singh, chose to sing the evergreen romantic number, Sanson Ki Zaroorat Hai, and funnily Kumar Sanu teased him with another fellow contestant Arunita Kanjilal who are rumoured as a couple.
He instructed Pawan to express from his eyes to Arunita while he gives the background music, Do Dil Mil Rahe Hai Magar Chupke Chupke.
“Every season Indian Idol gives our Music Fraternity some of the best singers. This year too, all the contestants are talented and each different from the other. They have a very bright future” says Kumar Sanu.
