Actor Amal Sehrawat, who is better known as Jagga from popular show Choti Sardaarni, has ended his stint in the show and carries forward some great memories with him. Speaking about the whole experience, he says,” I was informed before signing the show that it’s a cameo and my character will die in the first 6 months. Thankfully, the audience appreciated my performance, and my track got extended. As an actor, this is a great reward.
The extension happened because the audience liked my performance. I played Jagga for 2 years and in these two years, I have come extremely close to cast and crew and my character. I have some great moments from the show. But for an actor, it’s very important to come out of the comfort zone and challenge himself for other roles. I bid adieu to all connected to the show with a heavy heart but am taking loads of good memories.” Speaking more about the cast of Choti Sarrdaarni Amal says,” Though I will miss all of them, I will especially miss my on-screen sister Nimrit. I have developed a very warm connection with her. We actually treat each other like real siblings. With Anitaji (Anita Raj) also I have some great scenes and off camera also we used to bond well.”
Amal who has done web series and films and worked with directors like Ram Gopal Verma. I am looking for roles of the main antagonist or protagonist. He adds,” I have been working in all the mediums and web series no doubt is a very good space for actors. I am currently focusing on my craft and improving my performance.”
