Cyclone Nisarga, may hit Maharashtra and Gujarat on June 3 after 129 years.

Maharashtra is preparing for first historically speaking Cyclone in quite a while history.

Earlier, India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued an orange alert for Mumbai and Thane and a red alert for Palgarh. This threat comes at a time when the State is struggling with a massive rise in the number of Coronavirus cases already past the 70,000 mark.

Fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea and in view of the possible formation of a low-pressure area over the south-east and the adjoining Arabian Sea.
